Unable to configure DB2 connection

Hi,

I have exported the profile from DB2 VER 7 and imported the profile in DB2 Ver 8.1 now I could not be able to connect the remote server.

I am getting following errors

CLI connection failed.

SQL1334N The database server cannot be used to route a remote request to a second database server in this configuration.

Please Help me . Thanks in Advance

By looking at the information in the export file (it's readable in text mode), why don't you set up the connection manually on V8?

did u checked db2set -all to see DB2COMM registry variable = TCP ?
