I am running DB2 UDB FP11 on windows 2000. Have created a UDF with trigger. When I update the column that triggers the UDF, DB2 crashes with the subject application error and returns error:

SQL1224N A database agent could not be started to service a request, or was terminated as a result of a database system shutdown or a force command.
SQLSTATE=55032
