v. 8 client can't connectot v.7 DB2 server

I am running the version 8 client on a windows workstation . I can connect to v. 7 & 8 databases but I cannot query tables on v.7.

HAs anyone else had this problem? Any work-arounds besides installing the version 7 client on my pc?

Hi,

what you want to do is not supported by IBM and probably difficult to achieve.

I have seen posts in this forum who got your configuration to work with recent version 7 fixpacks, albeit with limited functionality.
