Gid

We have a group of Jobs that create primary key off of GID. Is GID generated when you create the table? If so, what does GID stand for?

If GID is the column name, you will have to ask the person who created the table. Try db2look or the the Control Center (alter table) to see if the column is a generated indentity column type.
