difference in FixPak level

I have a problem with my FixPak level.
history:

Db2 UDB ESE 8.1
on AIX 5.1

1. Backup on OS level of my database in januari.
2. Update of FixPak level 2 to 3.
3. restore of earlier backup

Now "db2level" gives me: FixPak level 2 (8.1.1.17)
but "lslpp -L all |grep -i db2" gives me FixPak level 3. (8.1.1.24)
(Higher than FixPak level 3 is not permitted)

How can I solve this inconsistency?

Not Sure

Hi,

I am not sure of the resolution however what I do know is that you cannot downgrade for db2 fixpaks.

Try rebinding all the packages and see if that helps.

db2rbind <databasename> -l all

Do let us know the resolution.

OS.

Hi

db2iupdt works on unix and db2rbind on windows.

Please specify your OS. That's a mandatory requirement, hope you have read the must read before posting section of the forum.
