DB2JDS process

I have a java application that connects to a DB2 v7.2 on OS/390 using Db2 Connect enterprise editionThe Db2 Connect is set up as a connectvity server .Hence my java app connects to the Db2 Connect using a type 3 driver.

The problem i am facing is that the DB2JDS (DB2 jdbc applet server process ) is terminated after 25 minutes of inactivity .Has anyone experienced such behaviour?

Is there a way by which i can increase the log level on the DB2 Connect side ,so that i can figure what is causing the DB2JDS process to die?
