Compare Oracle and DB2

Hi, what do you guys think is the most significant difference between Oracle and DB2? If you are going to make a decision of which one to use, what would be your consideration?

Hi,

Please read Must Read before posting thread.

It states:
4) Please do not post generic questions like "Which is a better database, Oracle or DB2 ?" or "When/Why should I partition my data?" Rather be more specific to what you want .. Not everyone wants to answer theoretical questions ....

Hope this helps,
Grofaty

Re: Compare Oracle and DB2

Read posts in comp.databases.ibm-db2 ... There have been dozens of flame-wars on the subject ...

Make a note of grofaty's comment also ...

Cheers
