Multi Language data

Hello All:

My requirement is the data in db will be of multi language, Is it possible with the character set of db set at creation time. If so how can i do sorting of the data based on the language.
i.e the sorting of data has to happned based on the frontend language setting.

if it is french the data must be sorted in the french sequence not in english.

Pls. do let me know whether it is possible in DB2. I did achieved in ORACLE with NLS_SORT session parameter
