DB2 7.2 client ODBC Windows 2K Pro

Please help!

Am trying to obtain UserId & password for ODBC connection from client to DB2 7.2 using Visual Basic.

It the only way through db2cli.ini??

And if so, how come the password is always truncated to 8 characters,
although in documentation it's supposed to allow up to 14 characters??
