Question Data Links File Manager

On a UNIX system, how can you tell if the Data Links File Manager is currently running?

Answered my own ?.....

if dlfmlist command exists, then run it.... and look at the return code...

The trouble is that command did not exist on my system.... So DLFM is not set up.... Simple solutions for complex problems....

I was confused because the system startup was trying to run dlfmstrt and I could not find any documentation on it. Looked on the IBM site and searched the internet... Guess it is one of those well kept secrets that IBM does not want us to find out about.......
