Time taken for Query Execution

Hi iam trying to do performance testing on the db2 UDB 8.1 PE. Is there any way the DB2 gives us the time taken for a query to execute.

Thanks
Satish

Try using the db2batch utility (see the Command Reference manual) which was specifically developed for benchmark testing.

Time command

If you're on AIX, Linux or Unix,
You can use the time command
from the shell.

i.e.

time db2 "myquery"
