Post Problem in DB2 Instalation ! Help Wanted ASAP !
HI ALL

Tried to create an instance using DB2 V.7.1 in RedHat Linux 8

/usr/IBMdb2/V7.1/instance/db2icrt -a SERVER -u db2fenc1 insgipdm Output log of the above command: /usr/IBMdb2/V7.1/instance/db2icknm: relocation error: /usr/IBMdb2/V7.1/lib/libdb2.so.1: symbol _res, version GL
DBI1069E Unexpected error. Function = get_instance, Return code = 127.

Changed the kernel version parameter to LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1

Please let me know how we can create the instance ?
Step By step Instruction would be great.

Appreciate your help.
