Replication vs DProp.

As I understand Dprop is to be used for cross-platform or multi-vendor RDBMS.

Does Dprop is available for NT/Unix Platform ???..if available ..

Does it make sense in using DProp rather then using
Replication ? (Source DB as well as target DB is existing
both on NT or both on UNIX)

Or is there any advantage of using Dprop on NT. ?

Any inputs on the same will be highly appreciated.

I have always assumed that DB2 Replication works on DProp Principles ...

Replication is what IBM now calls DPropR now that it is part of UDB (LUW).
