External Triggers in AS/400

I am trying to use External Triggers in AS/400. Trigger program is fired when event (Before Update) occurs and I am getting correct information for Before Image. But I am not getting the information of new record. I have done several things and I am out of luck so far. I am writing this with COBOL in V5R1. I trigged the same program for Before Update and After Update and still note getting the new record.

Can anybody Help ?
