Hi ,need your help
I have installed db2 V7.2 EE on Aix which includes DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition.I have a valid licence for EE which includes free licence for 5 persons
for DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition


when i start the instance i get the following error

after installing the db2 I added the licence as follow
/usr/lpp/db2_07_01/adm/db2licm -a /cdrom/db2licence/db2udbee.lic

SQL8008N The product "DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition" does not have a valid
license key installed and the evaluation period has expired. Functions
specific to this product are not enabled.
SQL1063N DB2START processing was successful.


Please help in this regard ,wld be appretiated

Did you have a evaluation copy installed on the machine earlier? Because we did have the same problem and it was resolved by uninstalling and installing db2 again. And that the evaluation date had expired. We have DB2 8.1.5 on Win 2000 though.
