Red face Deleting backup images no longer needed

Hi all,

DB2 8.1.5 on Win 2000

How do i delete backup images no longer needed? In MS-SQL 2000 we do a maintainence plan which automatically deletes the backup images after a certain number of days. Do we have a similar feature in DB2? I did go to the task center and wrote scripts to do a backup every night. Now i want to delete those images 7 or more days old.

Thanks in advance,

Newbie

Talking

Hi Abel,

I am not still sure how to do it, but right now i delete the backup images manually (i have handful of databases only). The changes do reflect in the control center.

Others, Any pointers?

Thanks in Advance,
Newbie

Arrow db2adutl

If your command line processor
is up and running you can
use the db2adutl utility

use 'db2adutl query' to list your backup images

use 'db2adutl delete <options>' to remove/deactivate
