Admin Server Error ???

I m using DB2 8.1(Personal Edition) on Win 2K professional.

It is not allowing me to create objects in control center, whenever
i try creating objects, it gives following error -

DB2ADMIN SERVER not started.

And when i try to start admin server from command line using
command "DB2ADMIN START" it shows following error -

Error while starting Admin Server.

Can anyone help me????

Go to services and start db2das

Hope this will solve ur problem.

Error in Admin Server !!

Hi Pushp !!

I tried to start db2das from services,
but again it gives error -
could not start dbdas.

Even after uninstalling DB2, it is giving
same error in fresh installation.

Any idea ???

Log on to windows with the DB2 Admin user id. Usually the default id is dasusr1 (determined during DB2 installation).

Then try to start the admin server. Also set it to autostart in the Windows services.
