Hi

I have the following scenario. I am developing with
Delphi 7 and Oracle 8.1.7.

I installed Delphi 7 on the client's pc which have
Oracle 8.1.6 installed on it. I also installed the
latest BDE and MDAC 2.8 on the pc. Problem now is that
I can not connect with ODBC or ADO to oracle. Don't
have any problem on my own pc where Oracle 8.1.7 is
installed. Are there any incompatibilities with the
latest BDE and MDAC ? I know it is not suppose to
cause any problems, because everything is suppose to
be backward compatibile, but ... well it is not
working .....
