Delphi 7 DBExpress connection to Progress DB

Delphi 7 has a TSQLConnection component in this dbExpress components that allows you to connect to several databases without setting up an ODBC DSN. I need to do this for a Progress database but Progress is not listed by default as a supported database. Does anyone know how to use this component with Progress.
