problem on mfc42ud.lib

hi all, actually i have a problem when i compile VC++ 6.0 program which has a link error saying that it can't find mfc42ud.lib, i tried to find this on the web, then i installed service pack 6, but still it gave me the same error.

I know here is a VB sector, but i cant find VC++ sector. please tell me wat did i miss out. Thanks

did you try to find the mfc42ud.lib file on your comp?
try to locate this file first.
If you don't find it on your comp try to find this on some comp where VC++ IDE compiles code properly. Place this file in your comp and then compile.

er.... compile in other comp? then come back and compile, isnt it the same?

i checked my pc, it doesn't contains this lib file inside the visual studio folder.

i tried to look for the file inside my installation disk, but i need to ask from other department which posses the disk.

please kindly let me know if anyone has any suggestion. Thanks
