Monitoring Connection

Hi

I'm writing my project in MFC (2003) and I am using OLE DB Interfaces to create a connection to the SQL Server 2005 and ...
Every time I Execute a Command i must check the Connection Status .

Is there a Notification Message that raise whenever a Connection is broke or create?
