Exception Class Errors

Happy to join you guys.
I am moving from Pascal to Delphi7.
My database application keeps telling me either that one of my procedures has too many arguments specified or that a parameter was not found. I have checked the stored procedure in thedatabas and the parameter is there. The spelling is also correct.
How do I resolve these problems?
