Supressing Excel messages

I also want to be able to supress messages that pop up when connecting to Excel.

I've supressed the save on close ones but i also get
-Document contains macros Save, Yes,No
-Workbook contains automated links, update Yes,No

I want to automatically say yes to the first and no to the second.

Is this possible?
