Serial Port Data Logging

I have connected a Panasonic KX-TD1232 PABX to my PC and verified the Connection via HyperTerminal.

I am looking for Call-Logging software so that data from the PABX can go to a text-file which will later be accessed via a Linked-Table in MsAccess for Various calculations.

Alternatively, I am looking for a combination of API controls like MSComm so that I can read the data from the Serial Port into a desired file.

Any ideas?
