Hello !

We currently have a system of entering an autotext entry in the footer of our letters which enters the full filename and path of the document - we are using MS Word 97.

What I am trying to do is create an entry which selects and leaves out certain parts of the path i.e the name of the folder the document is stored in but show the network drive, structure & doc name.

I am unsure if this is a visual basic question - if you can help or point me in the right direction then pls do !
