VC++ 6.0, open command

Hello,
Okay, I am a beginner using VC++. I would like to make a simple program that will store the address of an open command.

For example, when ever you click the open command in a "Word" docuement a screen pops up and allows you to scroll through files. It allows you to travers through directories and so on. I would like to be able to do this, but I have no idea how.

I know where it says "Look in", is a combo box.
"Up one level" is a button
I am guessing the main screen is "List Control"

But that is it. I just need as much help as you can give me. Thanks a million.
Sincerely,
Ronald
