Database CONNECTIVITY

Hi all,

I am trying to design an application that would import data from an
XML file. It would be able to interface with a multitude of different database, eg. Oracle, SQLServer, DB2. Sybase... etc. In addition it need to access some native objects, like
sequences, internal procedure... etc.

I am presuming ODBC. However, I do not think ODBC would be able to
select sequences... etc..

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Andrew
