Lightbulb ADO Control

Does any one know if you can change the ADO.connectionstring during run-time. I am trying to have a development (Testing connection) on my laptop and run-time executable on a host computer, but the connection string is different for the host computer. Therefore, I am trying to read a ini file at startup to read in the ADO connectionstring and reset the connection during the form load. Not able to successfully do this yet. Any suggestions would be helpful.
