people i know maybe my question sounds stupid, but i want to get advice from you, from proffessionals.

in my situation i talk about LAN client and server. Not about getting data trought internet.

if i want to get data on the client side from remote database then better way will be that i only specife in ado connection string network path like \\server\db\test.extension

or are another ways ?
