About DMO Object property "Column description" and How to insert a Column into existi

Dear All,

From Enterprise manager as you can see it has no problem inserting a column or columns into an existing database table and the process of doing this is very quickly regarless how many record is already exist in the Table.

How they do it ? I believe the use DMO object but there no such method to do this. Also in the Columns object there is no such property to store the column DESCRIPTION, how can we retrieve and store this information using DMO?

Anyone has come across this problem or any idea how to solve this puzzle will be very much appreciated.

regards

nctran.
