Could anyone help a norwegian student?

Hi! I have a big problem with a vbscript and would be very happy if anyone could have helped me out.
I am going to connect to a free-bsd server from an win xp, or win 2k client, in mine own network, and copy the last modified files.
I think I have the copy script, but I find it very difficult to connect to the server!
Anyone has a clue?
