Hi, A! Before FM7, I do not think you could store files in FM... I think the closest you could do was to store an image in a container field or store paths/references to files in text fields. Traditionally, FM was user-based and not server-based. With FM7, FileMaker is trying to "grow" into a more viable server and internet server based system, but I'm not sure they've added file storage. If I had FM7 I'd check it out for you, but I'd suggest you just check the help files and see what it says. Folks used to ftp files and just store paths before, but I don't know about now.

Hey Steve!
I searched the web and the FMP Help-Files.
It's very easy to store an entire file in a container fileld. Thats the way it works:
Add a container field to your table
Go to Browse mode
Right-Click to the container field
Click on "Insert File..."
Choose a file
Thats it....

But now, i am looking for a way to enter the file via script... Any ideas? I tried "Go to Field"-Function, but this is just working with file references, not with entire files, damn!

Greetz,
Andreas
