Displaying pdfs

I want to use filemaker to hold pdfs of important documents and have them displayed without having to execute adobe each time.

You would view a record and it would contain data about the dcument but also in plain view would be the document (formatted as a pdf) so you can read it and print it.

I am presently using filemaker 5!

Any ideas.
