I'm running MySQL remotely to run a web site. Filemaker is used locally as front end.
On the mysql forum I was told that a remote connection to mysql should be possible with odbc.
I know there are odbc plugins for mysql and Filemaker but I thought these only worked locally.
Can anybody explain to me what plug-in I should use and how you connect to a remote server (with a login and password).

Finding an answer to this problem I've been struggling with for over a year would be great!
