I am planning on performing a restore on server B with the backup done on server A. I trying to find out all the pre-requisites for this activity.
If you have done this ,kindly share your experience and suggesstions.

Actually it is a pretty easy process.
Make sure that you TAPEDEV and LTAPEDEV point to the right tape drives,
Recreate al of the dbspaces and chunks, exactly like they are on the server you going to restore from, and you are good to go.
ontape -r
