can I index a view in ids 9.4?

I can do this on MS SQL server and I am just wondering if I can w/informix.

Nope, not available at this time. Also don't think it will be there in a short time. I think it would only be nice on materalized views (or MQT, AST's), but this isn't in IDS available either.
