I'm storing XML documents as blob in an Informix database. I want to make queries on these docs, inside xml tags. I know that with the datablade verity text search it was possible to do it. But this product is discontinued.
What can I use ?

If there is no solution, I will have to shred these documents. What can I use to shred them ?

Sometime ago I read about the XSLT DataBlade in AlphaWorks. Apparently you can use xpath queries against blobs/clobs etc.
