Question carriage return in a column

Hi

I have a carriage return (CR) in a field for some records in my database. How do I search for these records? Is it possible to search for the asci-code for CR?

Something like this....???
SELECT * FROM table1 WHERE column1 = ASCII(13)

Thanks
Johan

Hi,

If you use OS Unix/Linux, then run unload to file text and run command cat filetext | sed 's/^M//' > file text good.

Gustavo.
