Hi,

I would like to get some help and suggestions on solving the problem "Bad Primary Chunk" when I was trying to bring up the engine by running oninit. I've scanned the harddisk and it seems to be alright and no bad sectors found. The engine was working fine previously until I tried to restart it.
Is there any other solution to this other than reinstalling the Informix engine?

Please, run oncheck -pr |grep "Flags", next look if appears "offline".
If "offline", then check I/O disk, repare this and restore the instance from back-up.
