creating dbspaces using onutil

hi,
I am facing a problem creating dbspaces using onutil on XPS 8.32 on HP-UX.

when i create dbspaces as
create dbspace test1.1 chunk "/test1.2" offset 0 size 1000 coserver test1

its giving syntax error .
i feel its not accepting "." in the syntax.

Pls help me .. i want to do it urgently.
