I am working on XPS for the first time and i have know idea about how does the light scans happen. i went thru some XPS documentation but i still have some doubts, Please clarify.

The LRU buffer management is skipped during a lightscan and the scans go thru the lightscan buffers.Does caching happen in these buffers as LRU buffers or the engine goes to a disk read each time a lightscan is performed on a large table.

If caching happens in these buffers how to monitor these lightscan buffers on XPS 8.32 engine.
