Exclamation shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER

OS: HP 11.0
DB: Informix v9

The problem occurs when trying to start the DB. The Informix v7 starts fine, but this one has not started since yesterday's reboot. This has been working for a few years before this. I'm walking into this issue with not much history so any ideas of what to look for would be great.

I have included the "online.log" and "oninit -v" screen output as attachments below.
Attached Files
File Type: txt oninit.start.txt (1.0 KB, 726 views)
File Type: txt online.txt (23.1 KB, 619 views)

It seems that the archive tape was full and we need to restart the database and ignore the logical logs. Does this make any sense? What steps do I need to take to get this to start without reading the logs?

Hi,
It seems you have two versions of informix. Please check the PATH variable. I feel the oninit is accessing the lower version(IDS 7) wen you are starting the IDS 9. see that the bin path is correctly set for IDS 9.

Bye.
