HOW DO I: Copy the schema and data from one informix database to another?

OS: HP
DB: Informix9
Tablespace is raw.

Is there anyway to do it without dumping it to a disk so you can reload it?

if the databases are on the different server you can create a mirror image of the disks, same onconfig parameters and then reload from the tape backup.

They are on the same. Is there anyway to just have have it write to the target database to save having to find a tape or create the diskspace?
