what to install for informix client

Hi, i am very new in informix world, and having a problem what to install for informix client for AIX. Do i install sdk or do i install connect or both or some other informix product to compile my C program. Any thought

you need to install the client SDK, then go in to set net and set the required paramters

Hi, thanks for reply but its for AIX, and when i install SDK i did not see the /usr/informix/cli or /usr/informix/gls path. This is realy confuse me which product is to be install just clientSDK or ClientConnect ?
