Moving an Informix SE installation
Is ist possible to move an existing Informix SE installation with database from one server to another?
Same software (Linux Suse Enterprise Server 8) and same Informix SE version.

We need to have a faster and bigger server.

Yes,

No problem. Just copy the files but be aware, only do it when there's no db activity and make sure settings are equal on both machines.
