what is sysmaster db table to know the status of the database server

hi

i am using IDS 4.0 wchich sysmaster table i have to query to know status of database server.

and how can i keep database server in read only mode.

Hi,

Please look in $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sysmaster.sql, "create view sysdatabases".
