Ok,

I'm using Access to pull data from numeric text fields in an Informix database. The problem is that once the data gets populated to the Access datasheet, it comes in as TEXT.

What's up with this? It's quite irritating that I can't perform any calculations on these values. Is there a workaround to turn these blasted text fields back into numbers when they return to Access?

Please help!

1) In ODBC link table i have not problem.
2) Workaround: Populate your access table with SQL.
