Hello *,
I am new to DB , while trying to install IDS 9.4 on windows XP, getting following error
" Failed to create IDS ol_s_********* service to run under mymachine\informix user account . This is a result of a synchronisation delay between the domain controller and this machine. You can either wait for few minutes and retry or start the server manager and manually synchronise this machine with the primary domain controller and then press retry button"

I don't know how to start the server manager and to synnchronise with the domain controller,please can somebody thro' light on this.

Do you have admin rights on the machine you are installing this on?
