Hi,
I am working on HP-UX 11i and IDS 9.3. I am trying to restore the data using ontape. the server is in Fast recovery mode for a long time even after the Dbspaces restore is complete. For restoring the actual data its taking around 10 min and for clearing the physical log its taking 45 min. In the message log it says clearing the physical and logical logs started and stays in Recovery mode for 2450 seconds.

Any inputs on this problem so that i can decrease the recovery time.

Try to use more than one chunk for physdbs and logdbs.
