Anyone know of any software that will allow us to run DOS .bat files and query Informix tables from windows to our INF 9.40 unix server. We are moving the app off mssql to Informix and want to try to use the same DOS scripts

are your DOS batch scripts running dbaccess? I have INFORMIX-SQL running natively under DOS 6.22, which is encapsulated within a Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 virtual hard disk. I am able to query remote ifx databases residing in UNIX.
